Job Description
- Keep up with the latest social media trends, extensive knowledge about trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines and platform updates
- Stay on top of viral content, trending media within different niches and platform best practices
- Creating engaging and informative short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Ideate video concepts, create and identify new formats for internal & external creators through an understanding of brand POV
- Oversee and execute the video production process from beginning to end, include research, concepts, scripting, filming, editing/post-production, scheduling and posting
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree holder in mass communications or a related field
- At least 2 years experiences of creating compelling content for social media, specifically short form/vertical content
- Proven track record of growing social media channels
- Video shooting & editing skill, proficiency with editing software (such as Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Malay
- A working knowledge of major social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok
